Abstract

The responsible department of this guideline project is World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, and it was implemented under the guidance and supervision of the general steering group of clinical guideline formulation and revision experts in Chinese medicine and the steering group of gastroenterologists. There was no economic interest relationship between revision process and any organization or individual.

This guideline is mainly for diseases with abdominal pain as the main manifestation, including functional abdominal pain, irritable bowel syndrome, pancreatitis, cholecystitis and other digestive diseases, providing diagnosis and treatment recommendations in Chinese medicine, and providing reference for clinical practice in Chinese medicine. The main purpose is to recommend the diagnosis and treatment of abdominal pain in Chinese medicine with evidence-based medical evidence, and to normalize clinical diagnosis and treatment process of in Chinese medicine.
